Course information

This course will help you to improve and build on all the basic pottery and ceramics techniques you learnt on our beginners courses. The sessions will cover a taster of lots of different techniques, including coiling, sculpting, slabwork and working on the potter’s wheel and look at the many ways to texture, decorate and glaze your work. There’ll be lots of demonstrations, one-to-one tuition and support, and give you the skills and confidence to develop your own ideas and style.

These courses are limited to small groups so that all the students get lots of attention and feedback.

Please note:

There is a small charge for all work you wish to be fired which is calculated by weight or volume to cover the cost of clay, glazes and firing.
